Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology has provided staff support to EUI, houses the project, and provides oversight of its budget.

Applied Technologies for Learning in the Arts & Sciences
ATLAS provides consulting on educational technologies and maintains state-of-the-art instructional spaces for the departments and instructors in the Liberal Arts and Sciences. ATLAS manages the classroom software application that EUI relies on, Moodle.

Center for Advanced Study
EUI's success to date owes much to the initial investment of CAS. CAS funding sustained a 2002-03 seminar series that brought together faculty, graduate fellows, staff, and administrators from across campus.

Center for Democracy in a Multi-Racial Society
Initiated in 2002 as a Chancellor's cross-campus initiative, CDMS affiliates examine how multiracial democracy is experienced in a variety of contexts, with a special focus on the university and on Illinois. EUI has partnered with CDMS in the past on a Ford Foundation funded project, Documenting the Difference that Diversity Makes (link).

Community Informatics Initiative
The Community Informatics Initiative (CII) is a research and teaching center focused on working with communities to address their information and technology needs, and cultivates partnerships on and off campus. With funding from the University of Illinois Office of the Provost, CII has financially supported EUI during 2010-11.

Freshman Rhetoric Program
The Freshman Rhetoric Program introduces new students to the methods of scholarly writing and research. Since EUI's conception, it has worked closely with the Freshman Rhetoric Program to fulfill the goal of teaching students the skills necessary to conduct original research and communicate their findings effectively in a dynamic scholarly community.

The Provost's Initiative on Teaching Advancement (PITA) support of the Rhetoric Program's participation in EUI has sponsored over a dozen rhetoric courses in the last two years that have afforded students vital educational opportunities to participate in research conferences and publish their work for the benefit of the UIUC community.

Higher Education Collaborative
HEC is an interdepartmental, cross-disciplinary affiliation of individuals with teaching, scholarly research and other professional interests in higher learning in the United States and around the globe. This collaborative has provided a professional forum for the exchange and development of ideas and resources central to the success of EUI.

Illinois Digital Environment for Access to Learning and Scholarship
IDEALS is the digital archive where research of University of Illinois faculty and students is made available in a dynamic environment to facilitate not only the distribution of information but also the development of ideas. The EUI digital collection is housed in IDEALS.

Illinois Informatics Institute
The mission of I3 is to "invent the information environments of the future and educate those who would build and use them." I3 was established in 2007 at the University of Illinois to foster multi-disciplinary collaboration, support joint academic appointments, offer courses and academic programs, and sponsor research and technology development in informatics and its applications.

Student Life and Culture Archival Program
A division of the University of Illinois Archives, this program collects, preserves, and makes available materials documenting student involvement in fraternities, sororities, student government, religious associations, publications, social events, athletics, and other activities that contribute to students' experience in higher education. No other university in the United States houses such a collection. Many EUI research projects draw on these rich archives.

University of Illinois Archives
Established in 1963, the University of Illinois Archives is a major center for research and learning. It is a unifying influence on campus and includes more than 23,000 cubic feet of records, publications, and faculty/alumni papers relating to the University and the Urbana-Champaign campus. EUI faculty and student rely on the resources of this collection

University Library, Central Reference
