Group Interviews with Campus Officials (Graber)

This exercise was developed to help students understand the University of Illinois Strategic Plan, its many components, and the number of individuals who were involved in writing, revising, evaluating, and implementing the plan. My goal was to make visible to students the complexities of implementing such a large scale plan, specifically in relation to community-based learning, that encompassed so many different colleges, departments, professors, students, and the larger community of Urbana-Champaign. It also was designed to acquaint students with upper-level administration and to provide them with qualitative interviewing experience.
